Well, it finally happened. After months of posts about Jeff Rosenstock with little to do with Boston or Ska or Boston Ska or Bostonska.net, Jeff announced recently that Antarctigo Vespucci (his project with Fake Problem’s Chris Farren) will be stopping by The Middle East Upstairs on their upcoming tour with Hard Girls. And just like that, all these posts about Lost podcasts and commemorative NBA jerseys have circled back around to having some marginal relevance to what this site is about.
Brought to us by Bowery Boston, the all-ages show will take place on Sunday, November 16th at 7:30 pm, and tickets can be found via Ticketweb.

In other news, the new, much anticipated sophomore LP from Mike Park’s Bruce Lee Band (in which Jeff contributes keyboard and sax duties) is available for purchase. Everything Will Be All Right, My Friend is solid, energetic ska-punk, and is available via Asian Man Records or iTunes. Not including this year’s Community Support Group EP, this will be the Bruce Lee Band’s first proper release since 2005’s Beautiful World EP. The first 300 vinyl orders through Asian Man will receive an exclusive 11×17 poster, and the first pressing is limited to 500 copies, so time is of the essence!
