Four piece ska/reggae band The Screw-Ups have released their long-awaited debut album No Time To Waste. As we’ve noted, this album has been in the works for a while, with the band noting that the process for the album’s recording and release started a few years ago. It shouldn’t be a surprise, given that though the band splits members between Boston and Connecticut, the album was recorded with the help of King Django at his Version City Studio in New Jersey (Django also contributed keys and trombone to tracks on the album.) No Time To Waste is The Screw-Ups’ first release since the EP they put out in 2013.
The album is available for CD purchase now on the Stubborn Records webstore, with a Bandcamp stream and vinyl release purportedly said to be forthcoming. Check out the cover art, tracklist, and a live video of album track “Treat Me Right” below.
