The Mighty Mighty Bosstones recently announced a string of tour dates across the northeast U.S. this July. They culminate with the already sold-out date at Fenway Park opening for Foo Fighters. The band is calling this tour their “Eastern Run.”
The said in a recent email to fans:
We are beyond excited to announce our Eastern Run Tour in July leading up to our big show with the Foo Fighters at Fenway Park! We’ve put together an incredible bill with The Streetdogs  joining us in Buffalo, New Haven, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York! And If that weren’t enough, we will also be joined by The Interrupters in New Haven, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York!
Both The Street Dogs and The Interrupters have been a part of the Bosstones’ annual Hometown Throwdown in the past so it’s no surprised that they will be supporting those dates.

- July 11 – New Haven – CT Toad’s Place with The Street Dogs, The Interrupters – Tickets
- July 12 – Washington DC – 9:30 Club with The Street Dogs, The Interrupters – Tickets
- July 13 – Philadelphia, PA – Union Transfer with The Street Dogs, The Interrupters – Tickets

I wasn’t able to grab tickets to the Fenway Park show, but I did get tickets to see them at Toad’s Place in New Haven. I’m fairly certain the first time I saw the Bosstones was as a senior in High School in CT when they played at Toad’s. I also think this might be my first time seeing them there since. Toad’s is tight so expect that show in particular to sell out.
This will be the third summer in a row that the Bosstones have played a big summer show, complementing their annual winter Hometown Throwdown gigs and helping Bosstones addicts make it through the year.
